Car Safety
The U.S. Department of Transportation created the
National Highway Traffic
Safety Administration (NHTSA) to carry out safety programs throughout
the nation. Their mission: Save lives, prevent
injuries, and reduce vehicle-related crashes.
AutoAdvantage frequently use the NHTSA website when researching
auto recalls, vehicle and road safety ratings, and more. We recommend that
everyone visit this site before hitting the nation's highways:
http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/
Please note that the NHTSA website is
maintained by the U.S. government.
It is not maintained by AutoAdvantage and we
